Sunday

Sunday is a special time at East Hill. Our services start at 10:30 and are over before noon.

• We have music that is a blend of traditional church hymns and more modern praise choruses, usually guided by Judith's guitar.

• We spend time in intercessory prayer for people in our church, the community, and our world.

• The pastor or another guest speaker provides teaching from the Bible.

• We also provide information about opportunities to serve in our community or join in other Christian activities in the community.

We invite you to stay after the service and join us for tea or coffee.

We run a regular Sunday school programme during the second half of our service for both younger and older children where they receive a combination of teaching of Bible stories and related activities and songs. Every six weeks, we have a family service, when children are more involved in our complete service. We always have a worker certified by child protection on hand to ensure that we provide a safe place for children.

We serve Communion on the third Sunday of every month and all who believe that we are saved by grace through faith in a risen Christ are invited to share in this symbol of our faith.

Special Sundays at our church include Harvest Sunday, Remembrance Day, Easter Sunday, Christmas Carols Service, and a New Year's Service.
